Recorded workout data is an increasingly more valuable tool for athletes and coaches, but it's important to not lose sight of the communication that happens around a workout. As an athlete, it's critical to keep a record of your responses to daily workouts for your own reference, and the same response gives your coach the information he/she needs to adjust your training with precision.
Here are the fields Sixcycle offers to capture the Athlete Response:
Completed
Did you do your workout? Marking it as Complete will color the workout green and include it's volume (distance and/or duration) in your Timeline chart.
Feedback
Take a minute to write a few short sentences about how the workout went and how you are feeling. More often than not this provides a lot of insight, even if you feel that it may not.
Distance, Duration, Stress
If your workout Distance, Duration or Stress was different than assigned and/or recorded, you can manually input values here.
Effort
On a scale of 1-10, how hard did you feel the workout was just when you completed it?
Soreness
Going into the workout (after the warmup, if assigned), how sore were you on a scale of 1-10?
Fatigue
Going into the workout (after the warmup, if assigned), how fatigued were you on a scale of 1-10?
